Career Report

Many people hear confusing messages about career choice and sometimes fall into work for which they have a poor fit. They may spend years in less – than – optimal situations because of that confusion. Different characteristics are important for success in different jobs, and characteristics that are important in one job may interfere with performance in others. The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) evaluates people on seven well – known dimensions or characteristics that influence occupational success.

The Hogan Career Report is derived from the HPI, which describes normal, or bright – side personality – qualities that describe how we relate to others when we are at our best. The report identifies how people are likely to react in various business circumstances, identifies their key strengths and shortcomings in business settings, and includes detailed tips to help manage their careers. The report therefore helps build self – awareness by providing insights on an individual’s reputation – how their day – to – day behaviour, or “usual personality” in a working environment comes across to others.

The report comprises of an introduction followed by detailed personalized narrative on strengths, shortcomings and tips for career development. The last page of the report has a graph of Hogan Personality Inventory along with definitions of seven scales.
