The Hogan Insight Series applies that very same scientific rigor to enable personality insights for a wider audience. It provides comprehensive and in-depth understanding for key talent decisions and is used extensively for selection as well as development. The Hogan Insight Series is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of individual strengths and performance risks, as well as core beliefs and values which drive organizational performance.
Hogan Insight Series provides scale and sub-scale level data for all the three personality inventories: HPI, HDS and MVPI. It provides interpretation of scale level scores with discussion points, enabling deep reflection and facilitating developmental conversations.
The Hogan Insight Series includes four reports:
- Insight HPI: A yellow colour report with interpretation of HPI scores. The Hogan Personality Inventory evaluates the bright side of personality to determine how individuals interact with others, approach work tasks, and solve problems using seven primary scales. The scores of HPI must be interpreted in the context of the individual’s role.
- Insight HDS: A red colour report with interpretation of HDS scores. Hogan Development Survey evaluates the dark side of personality to pinpoint derailers that emerge during times of stress, which can result in damaged relationships and derailed careers. It is recommended to interpret HDS report in context of their everyday performance which is evaluated by HPI.
- Insight MVPI: A blue colour report with interpretation of MVPI scores. The Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory evaluates the Inside of personality to understand an individual’s core values – the goals and interests that determine job satisfaction and drive decisions. When the individual’s values are consistent with the organization’s culture, they are motivated to perform more effectively.
- Flash Report: Flash report is an easy to refer report for discussion between coach and participant with consolidated 2-page report of Scale scores and Subscale scores.
